This life-altering workshop is based on the well-received book written by Dana Sardano. Ten Recommandments for Personal Empowerment is a loose autobiography written in a how-to format that is structured around the life lessons that have led Dana to her own personal empowerment. The first order of business is to congratulate you on taking the hardest, most important step towards discovering the truest version of you and living the life of your dreams! Sounds dramatic, but it is so very true. The rest of the work really is easier than making that decision to put down whatever has been anchoring you in the dark.

Angela DiMarco, Uniquely U. Founder/CEO, has been clean and sober since March 9, 2010. Even though it has been a hot minute since she put down the booze, the memories of those early weeks are very vivid. If you have recently decided that whatever substance you are using for your solution to all your problems, whether that be alcohol, drugs, sex, food, gambling, codependency or anything else that takes you away from the present moment, then this group is for you. With topics ranging from Sponsors vs. Support Groups to Types of Meetings and How-U Participate Matters, you’ll walk away from this workshop feeling empowered because you will feel more in control to recover the way that works best for you.

With the graciousness of hindsight sprinkled with a ton of empathy, Angela is eager to share her experience and lend a hand to those who have said, “Enough is enough! My way just isn’t working anymore!”

All you need to participate is a true desire to put down the substance or change the behavior that is holding you down. We are here to be your emotional safety net. Also, a notebook and pen would be great so you can jot down any nuggets that inspire you.
